Easter / Passover

Easter, aka Passover, is this week.  Did you know that what Christians celebrate as the Lord's Supper, or Communion, actually comes from part of the Passover Seder?  You can read more regarding the connection between Easter and Passover at the following links.  Part 2 is about the Lord's Supper, hence the reason I listed it first.

To create my card I used a simple sketch from one of the challenge blogs I follow to create the layout.

I saw the idea for the Matzah/Crackers somewhere in the vast land of the internet that I can no longer locate.  I added a little more detail with the crimper and the paper piercer.  Not sure those really show in the picture.  Using Versa Mark I created the background on the blue paper. 

It has been a long, very loooong, time using a challenge to create a card. It was much fun! Thanks to Freshly Made Sketches!
