Review: Where the Crawdads Sing

Where the Crawdads Sing Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Where the Crawdads Sing is a story of survival and self protection based on experience. I think the story line was well developed while weaving the current storyline and the how-we-got-here storyline. It's one that will stay with you after it's gone. Would make a great on-screen movie!

Note: I listened to the audiobook. The narrator's voice was good during the reading. With speaking parts it was less desirable. Too kiddie? Not sure. I stuck with it and was glad I did. I would preferred to have read it - wonder if I'll think that of any audiobooks...

Update:  Watch the movie... very well done.  I think it followed the book except one slight change.  Not a game changer....
