From the Trench: Scrapbooking

Over the last few months I've been trying to clear out the clutter.  To accomplish a big portion of that I need to jump back into scrapbooking.

School Albums.

If I were to put all the school papers, awards, pictures, projects into bankers boxes....I'm probably looking at 3-4 for two kids.

I was going to have a memory box of sorts for each child to put all those extra pics/papers/etc, but my daughter told me she would more likely look through the papers if they were in the scrapbook.  Which means....I just need to trash 75% of it.  I mean...really... are they going to look at all those papers....ever?  This is more mommy-sentimental-emotional-trip stuff.

I pulled out the two albums I had purchased about 15 years ago and supplies that I've had in my stash for just as long..

My daughter's album layout was complete, so I used it as a guide for my son's.  Sorting through all that paper and filing by school year has been overwhelming to say the least.  I'm trimming the "Name:_______ Date: ____" from papers for each year to have a sample of their handwriting.

Once this is all complete it will make it much easier moving forward.  Just attach the photos and add details...
