Spellbinders Betterpress Letterpress - Peony Perfection

So... I took the plunge.  I am now included in the Letterpress craze.  With rewards built up over at A Cherry on Top, using them towards the system made the decision a bit easier.   I had been on the fence about really needing another crafty gateway, but alas I am here.

A few days after purchasing the system, Spellbinders had an awesome sale on the plates and picked up four.  Then another company, the one that really put me on the fence, LDRS Creative had a sale on plates and I picked up another three.

Playing into the wee hours of the morning. Trying all the plates and different color card panels.  A card was created.

Ink
>LDRS Tickled Pink
>LDRS Olive Branch
>Tsukineko Delicata Golden Glitz (sentiment & edges)

Paper
>Betterpress Pebble Card Panel
>Taylored Expressions Mushroom Cardstock
>Taylored Expressions Oat Milk Cardstock (inside panel)
>Taylored Expressions Oat Milk Envelope

Other:
>Creative Memories 12" Trimmer Deckle Blade
>Scrapbook.com Premium Foam Adhesive

I really like the look of the Letterpress.  It is subtle.  However.. a noticeable impression.  I think one looking can differentiate between the Letterpress image and a stamped image.  I have not yet tried any type of coloring.

Here's some resources for the Betterpress:

Now back to finishing my daughter's scrapbook for this NSD (National Scrapbook Day)!

Happy Scrapping!!
