Organization Revamp - Stamps, Embossing Folders, Magnetic Dyes

Reorganizing my crafty space is an ongoing process.  So far, I have finished storage for my embossing folder, magnetic die cuts and stamps.

The first project I worked on were my magnetic dies & embossing folders.  I went with Anna Griffin storage boxes with included storage envelopes. I got these on sale and just before a price increase.  They add a pop of color to my space, and I used them to pull color from.  (For example, the color dividers I used in the clear storage box below)

Each box is designed so that the sleeves need to have room to lean back in order for the top to fit.  I had so many embossing folders that I needed to trim the tabs off in order for them to fit.  I placed the label at the new top edge of the sleeve and created dividers out of cardstock for each theme.

As much as I love the pop of color these will give my craft area, part of me wishes I would have come across the Stamp N Storage sleeves and the Scrapbook.com storage containers first (that is what I used for my stamps).

For my next project I took all my wood mounted rubber stamps and mounted to cling foam using EZ Mount. Long ago, I found that a hot knife slices through that sticky mess like butter. You can find one at Amazon or Michael's.. or any craft store I imagine.

Stamp-N-Storage stamp cards and envelopes are a great way to save space. I was using the DVD type holders from Stampin' Up - which had been my favorite for so long.  Wanting a container with a lid to keep dust out, I finally found one at Scrapbook.com.  They had the perfect container!  It was a clear box that I took the dividers out & turned sideways to fit more sleeves.  I just couldn't spend the money for the SNS wood box with lid.

A craft room refresh might be the thing I need to jump start back in to crafting and scrapbooking...

Update:  I decided to move my embossing folders over to the Scrapbook.com plastic storage bin. I added my stencils to that same box as well.  The empty AG box I used for liquid glue - Modge Podge containers fit perfect standing up.
