Hope on the Inside by Marie BostwickMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is the first book by Marie Bostwick that I have read. It is a good, clean read with elements of faith woven throughout. There was one time (might have been another, can't remember) that I felt a better word could have been used, like 'jerk', instead of what was used. Not a game changer, but to me it felt out of place considering the overall theme of the book. The storyline follows "Hope" - a woman & her husband going through life changes: early retirement, finding meaning in what one does in life and family relations. The other line of the story is "on the Inside" - inside a woman's prison facility and corresponding life relations. It was really a good story of 'Hope' - not just a woman's name, but second/third/fourth chances. I will definitely be reading more from Marie.
