Spellbinders Storage

I was reading some posts on how others store their Spellbinders dies.  I don't remember where they are located or I would post links*.  But as I was reading, I thought of how I would like to store my dies.  I currently have dies and embossing folders in one of those photo boxes from Hobby Lobby and need a better, visible way to store them.  I forget what I have until I pull the box out.

Well, I LOVE the Stampin' Up Clear Mount Stamp Cases, the ones you buy in bulk.  Here's the supplies I used:   -SU Clear Mount Case    -Adhesive, Magnetic Sheet from Hobby Lobby, $9.99 (or close), used 40% off coupon, magnetic #1 on scale to 10      -Spellbinder dies (or other metal dies)

I cut the magnetic sheet to 4.4x6.5 and stuck to inside of clear mount case.  I put the Spellbinders cardboard sheet into the cover of the case. Here's the inside and cover:

I made a label for the side with the name & # code with a label maker so I can see which case contained which die when stored as a 'book' on a shelf.

I also had some smaller strips of magnetic sheet and used those on the smaller dies.  I really like my new way of storage!

*I found where I was reading, links below.  There was some added discussions after I went back to search for where I found the link.  There was a discussion on a Yahoo Group that I'm in called VC Rocks.  It's for Stampin Up lovers.  Here's the link that was shared:  The Kraft Journal - Makes a spiral bound journal using magnetic roll strips.  The discussion went from there.  Most use magnetic strips, there was a mention of magnetic sheets.  Although the dies were not staying on the magnet.  They used the SU Snail adhesive to adhere the magnetic to case.  I was afraid the strip would not hold the dies, and I had some shape dies that were not nestablities, so I went with a whole sheet.  The adhesive sheet I bought & cut to size has held the dies.   When I open the case & bend the back side (side with sheet stuck to it) they have come up from the sheet.

Hope this helps you with deciding on how to store your dies.  Everyone has thier own preference.  Share your way by adding your link in a comment.
