Spring

Spring is all about new flowers, fresh air, cool breeze.  Coming out from hibernation after a cold winter.  Which is a little harder this spring.  Where do allergies fit in to this picture?  Oh yeah, pollen.  Well, at least I can be sneeze-free creating with paper. 

I used the following challenges to decide what card I was going to make today.  It's been a while since I sat down & made one.  And...I had to get my therapy in before starting the week tomorrow.

• Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge #35 - card or project with a flower - based on Isaiah 40:8,The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever
• Basic Grey Week 17 - sketch is below (didn't enter this one, was a little late)

So to create my card, I used House Mouse Designs' Throwing Daisy Petals with 2 sheets of Basic Grey Urban Prairie and SU Pink Pirouette as the base.  I colored the image with Staedter Watercolor Pencils using a SU Blender Pen.  Prima Flowers sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Iridescent Gold.  Pearl centers & ribbon from my stash.  Sentiment from HL (sorry can't remember brand, but clear set).  Ok...here ya go:
